As a black guy myself I personally believe that they do and find it quite annoying, I swear in so many threads comparing beyonce or some other black artist to another artist they always bring up SOMETHING having to do with race or try to make a basic achievement by her seem even more better than it is by bringing by her race into it.
So what do you guys think, Do you think they do or am I reaching?
Janet. No competition. At all. Especially considering Britney has done whatever she can to emulate Janet. Britney just happens to be white and accepted more because of it.
It's not just the Beyonce stans that do it though, so why isolate them?
And in a world where non-Whites are treated like second class citizens, minority artists accomplishing what the majority artists have, it IS an accomplishment and commendable. Race is and will always be an issue regardless if you want to admit it or not.
Mhm. Same with Janet stans, among many others. Some stans pull the race card over the littlest things. Justin is part Cherokee Indian and I don't remember bringing that up in SYG or elsewhere.

No, the race card isn't pulled too much. Some people just don't understand the gravity of being the first Black anything. Some people don't realize how powerful racism is and how miraculous it is that people like Beyoncé, Rihanna and their predecessors have become so successful in this day and age.
