Promo ain't helping this. She's already performed it on pretty big shows and it's in the 300's of iTunes. She's gotta wait to put it to radio and see how it goes. It ain't looking good tho
Every time I remember that a song called Onion Girl actually exists, and Gaga talked about it like it was some amazing concept, I just think, you know what bitch, G.U.Y. deserves to flop.
It reached #16 based solely on airplay and minimal sales. A video at its peak could've pushed it to Top 10, perhaps even Top 5 Not to mention the possible full embrace by radio and increased sales.

She listened to monsters too much. Remember when she said she knows we want fun dance bops? Also that all songs from the album were made to be hits. I really don't like that state she was in when she was making it. BTW was seriously something she'll probably never top and truly groundbreaking.
Honestly I think Gaga wrote some fantastic material for this album, only it wasn't put on the album. I don't think the label wanted anything experimental, which is why the dual disc idea was probably shot down. With Gaga's monsters wanting fun bops too, Gaga went along with it. She really believes in this album so I don't think she was forced or is as much as a victim as she says, but I do think ARTPOP is the child of Gaga trying to please too many people - which is why it is an incoherent album as relevant to ARTPOP as talent is to...never mind
At the end of the day, I'm just glad Fernando Garibay didn't make the album. Legit, I haven't loved any of his songs. Ever. So, in that aspect, I'm thankful for Paul, Hugo, and Anton.
Anyhow, I'd be fine if I knew this was just temporary but she's been sucking horribly since 2011 now AKA the majority of her career. Some people are just not meant for this industry.
Anyhow, to keep it positive, woohoo G.U.Y.'s video was better than Applause!

Even if she wasn't happy with the video or she didn't even have permission to release it, she should've filmed another video ASAP and funded it herself. Anything.
Instead she went to bed and cried for a month straight. I mean, she has no one to blame but herself
