I ended up watching the stream and I turned it the **** off when hester was revealed and I won't be watching the rest of the episode. I have no comment on this garbage.
Because my computer broke and I only got it fixed now I completely missed the finale, so I need to wait until the episodes get posted on the FOX website for me to watch them.
Don't bother watching the 2nd part. Just stop watching right before the killer reveal and you'll be happty
Ryan has been saying there were only 13 episodes for a while. It was originally issued 15, then after they aired the first two, it was cut to 13. This was the full season order. I highly doubt they were going to go for 22 with this being the mid-season finale. This is it. This was always going to be it. They were just gonna change the ending. It's obvious.
You're 100% right, the show was actually supposed to be 15 episodes.
As for it being cancelled it's a toss up. It's #1 saving grace is that the streaming is very high. But the network is less concerned about that.
You're making an illogical presumption. Just like C/H/A/N/E/L and her 'it must have been a **** ending on purpose theory'
Empire and AHS have only a few episodes per season. I don't see why Scream Queens also couldn't have been a similar situation. I doubt Ryan wanted it to keep going longer this season. He's just tacky and wanted to throw in that last scene for ***** and giggles
Empire has a brief first season. They did the exact thing he described the second season with like 10 original episodes, a midseason finale and then more being revealed. I think Quantico is doing the same. HTGAWM did it. etc.

13 episodes is only a full season for a cable show or a Netflix show. Traditional network television shows (such as ones on FOX like this one) get 22-24 episodes. When a show is picked up it typically gets a guaranteed 13 episodes and then if it does well enough it gets the back 9 episodes ordered to make it a full season.
I mean the amount of episodes a tv show gets is changing as television changes, but Scream Queens was promoted heavily in a way that presented it as a tentpole of the FOX fall lineup, so I'm sure the possibility of more episodes for season 1 was a very real thing until the ratings came in.
The Following had three seasons and always did half seasons.
I stand by this finale being beautiful. It definitely had flaws, but watching this show completely turn on the utterly vile Chanels was beautiful. And Lea was phenomenal. Hester is totally my fav (sorry Chad)
Does JLC, and Keke survive? Also who r the Red Devils and the baby from '95?
Watch the first half. Don't watch the second.
Second half summed up:
Hester is the second bathtub baby and was raised by Gigi alongside her brother Boone. She was the killer. She did everything that isn't explained in episode 12 (the first half). She then frames the Chanels, and everyone who isn't a Chanel gets their happy ending in the real world.
Meanwhile, the Chanels go to an asylum, and they also get to live happily there because they find out it's where they belong and they totally fit in and get to do what they want there.
