It was always going to be this long. I stand by the idea that he chose this ending because the show was cancelled, not the other way around.

13 episodes is only a full season for a cable show or a Netflix show. Traditional network television shows (such as ones on FOX like this one) get 22-24 episodes. When a show is picked up it typically gets a guaranteed 13 episodes and then if it does well enough it gets the back 9 episodes ordered to make it a full season.

I mean the amount of episodes a tv show gets is changing as television changes, but Scream Queens was promoted heavily in a way that presented it as a tentpole of the FOX fall lineup, so I'm sure the possibility of more episodes for season 1 was a very real thing until the ratings came in.

I refuse that ending, Ryan has got to know that the finale was ****. I refuse to believe that Grace had NOTHING at all to do with the Red devil/murders. I ALSO refuse to believe that Ryan would create such a basic ass character and have her survive.

Scream Queens it was fun (until the last hour) like C/H/A/N/E/L mentioned i would rather have it be cancelled and have a bomb ass blu-Ray DVD released where we can see the true, twisted, more sensible and legendary finale.

OMG I LOVED Surface. I was so upset when I heard it was cancelled.

But for real, it's VERY possible that FOX cancelled the show. Ryan's bratty ass probably didn't wanna change networks or anything so he just aired this ending to FINISH it.

I repeat no one ****ing died in the finale . No one. There are 10 survivors instead of 5. The whole season they have killed only 3 main cast members. They lied about it. Hester being the killer was so predictable and it doesn't even make sense. In episode 4 for
example or episode 11. Also her falling doen the stairs and her neck snapping makes no sense either. I am fine with all this tho but why did they keep the killer for next season. Why did they let every basic bitch from the library into the KKT? The ending is like it was
written by a tumblr SJW who hasn't experienced sunlight for like three whole years. No no I will not have that grease faced mother****er do this to the show. Ryan has been saying there were only 13 episodes for a while. It was originally issued 15, then after they aired the first two, it was cut to 13. This was the full season order. I highly doubt they were going to go for 22 with this being the mid-season finale. This is it. This was always going to be it. They were just gonna change the ending. It's obvious.

We're upset cuz it was a **** ending, but it was an INTENTIONAL **** ending because Ryan was probably told FOX isn't going for a season 2.

That's the end to the series.

Ryan TOLD us he shot different endings, and I have no doubt in my mind that at least one of those alternatives is a GOOD ending that PROPERLY explains everything AND kills off all but those 4-5 survivors.

BUT FOX said no so he aired this one.

I'm not mad because Grace wasn't the killer like I wanted.
I'm mad because Ryan left plot holes/mistakes (the Grace/RD picture, the Pete vs Chad scene etc.) and made the last episode so boring. NOTHING happened. The plot was non-existent and it was just a lot of random explanations to fill time.

You're making an illogical presumption. Just like C/H/A/N/E/L and her 'it must have been a **** ending on purpose theory'

Empire and AHS have only a few episodes per season. I don't see why Scream Queens also couldn't have been a similar situation. I doubt Ryan wanted it to keep going longer this season. He's just tacky and wanted to throw in that last scene for ***** and giggles

Omg you watched it too? I'm still eternally pressed we never found out what happened with those people trapped on the roof if they died or not.


I doubt Ryan would want to get rid of it that badly though, I mean he went through all the trouble of creating this cast and personally crafting it to fit Emma and Jamie that I doubt he'd throw away the show like this. Especially as Jamie would probably be unhappy with this as well and could possibly not be so eager to work with him again after convincing her to join the show only to cancel it without trying to save it by switching networks.
