How does ignoring an candidate's recent death threats of his opponent by just criticizing their opponent (when it's out of place entirely and out of context with what's currently going on) spark intelligent conversation?
This thread is meant to discuss politics as things take place in the election cycle. Everything brought up prior had nothing to do with what took place today. The only thing that happened in Hillary's camp is Robby Mook's response to Trump's comment.
It's not about attacking Hillary. It's about attacking Hillary as a way to defend Trump for hinting at the assassination of his political opponent if elected. If you have a valid criticism towards Hillary, awesome! If you're using it to defend a death threat and brush over said threat using that criticism, then that's another issue.

Yeah that's fair - I missed out on most the discussion today so idk how much of what they were saying was related to Trump's death threat or not and I'm not interested enough to go back But yeah that's ****ed up ever defending murder. Life is the most important right we have and nobody has the right to take it away imo.
This is another thing that the few Trump fans need to understand. While nearly all of the people criticizing Trump here ARE Hillary fans, there are more than enough reasons to criticize Trump without being pro-Hillary at all.

Sis we can talk about positions and previous events all day. We do not have to regulate ourselves to current events and can bring up former topics all we like so long as they still make for valid political conversation or even mere opinion. There are people who probably just want to pop into this thread for a minute - post their opinion or musing on the election - then pop out never to return again. We can bring up former events all we like and we can bring up criticisms of Hillary (or Trump, Johnson, etc.) all we like too.

Why do you say this? My political ideology falls nearly identically to Johnson's (aside from a few foreign policy and immigration issues). I understand why people think Libertarians are crazy - because most of the people in that party are the extreme of that party (just as Cruz or Sanders are the extremes of the Reps and Dems) but I believe Johnson - like myself - to be a moderate Libertarian.
