Yes, but the point you made was that Biggie wasn't big until after his death which is completely and utterly false and that Pac was bigger which is only a half truth considering Big didn't release a solo album again until '97 as he took a break to push Junior MAFIA and Pac released All Eyez On Me in the midst of the controversy.
It's rather ridiculous to imply that Life After Death was only big because he died considering how both their respective statuses were elevated in all the media coverage and hype in '95/'96. But, if you really wanna go tit for tat, Pac didn't go Diamond until after he died and neither did Big.

IMO, Big's sales would likely have been in the ballpark of Pac's regardless of whether he died before the release of the album or not.
