Sara has just released 2 singles so far and "Love Song" is her 1st. "Bottle It Up" is climbing up the chart and remember that LS take for like half a year to be famous I really hope she is not a one-hit-wonder since she's talented!

Oh, and to answer your question, a "hit" is a song that makes somewhat of an impact on the chart. These songs are usually located in the Top 40 or above. Anything below top 40 really isn't a hit. Also, a song could still hit a high position on the Hot 100, but still be a flop. An example of this is Lil Mama's Shawty Get Loose, or at least in my opinion. It hit #10, but it dropped quickly out of the Top 40 in only 2 weeks and made no impact whatsoever. So yeah, that is what makes a song a "hit".

Ashlee Simpson is not a one-hit wonder. I would say that her sister is moreso, but neither of them are. Jess might actually pull a Carrie and "Come On Over" could be a mainstream hit

I did not get the "pull a Carrie" part. Jess voice is good but i do not think she can make it for country music. It might be happen though, cause she made it top 25 for the 1st time release in a new market shows that she must be damn pro! Country music normally must build up single by single to get more spins. Like personally i think for Taylor Swift, "Tim Mcgraw" and TOMG is better than "Our Song", but only "Our Song" hit #1 ...

Well, yeah, that's what I'm saying. She had an amazing debut and will probably be more successful doing country music than pop. I'm not comparing her voice to Carrie's (Jessica Simpson could never win American Idol, LOL!), but Carrie Underwood also has a mainstream audience that Jessica is enjoying as we speak. Her song is top 30 on iTunes last I checked.

For instance, I'm no country fan, but I love "Before He Cheats," "Last Name" and "So Small."

haha, NO. I agree with some of that, Jessica Simpson definately own Ashlee Simpson in sales and peaks.
