The fact is Hilary Duff is not relevant anymore (now she's resorted to putting scorpions down her pants) and Raven Symone will never be relevant.

Wow some people really don't know anything about the entertainment world. That's why Hilary's CONSTANTLY followed by over 15 paparazzi everytime she leaves her house, that's why her last album "Dignity" had a lot of critical praise, that's why she's been getting nothing but praise for her role in "War Inc," which was a character she played (Something you obviously can't understand or comprehend), & that's why she's still signing up for movies & starting a new album... you wouldn't know relevance if it hit you in the face.

Yep, she still has 4 movies in the works with yet another movie out this year. And she has a new box office success in her hands as we speak, 'War, Inc' is doing very well and expanding as we speak as well. Not to mention the whole scorpion thing, was ALL over the news, I even saw that **** on CNN. She's got films in the works, an album, fragerances, she's got it all. If anyone thinks critical success, film success, constant paparazzi coverage, mainstream media coverage, a million dollar clothing/fragrance line, and over 14 million albums sold with each album selling nothing less than 1,000,000 copies, isn't relevance, then they need to re-evaluate themselves and they're education asap.

Actually I wouldn't consider them a "One Hit Wonder" either. They have other recognizable hits such as "Pardon Me", "Wish You Were Here" and "Stellar" which were all huge on Rock Radio Stations
"Wish You Were Here" did chart on the Hot 100, it reached #60 and was also included in one of the "NOW That's What I Call Music!" CD's, so I would say that they have other songs that people know, even though they may not have been big enough hits, but people still recognize them never the less.

no. Boyfriend peaked at numbr 19 and L.O.V.E. peaked at number 22, some artist in that list dont even have a top 20 hit, so Ashlee is not a one-hit-wonder.

I'd barely call any of those one hit wonders. Not even Aly & AJ. Rush, Like Whoa, and Chemicals React did considerably well, and Potential Breakup Song did awesome.
I'd call Cassie's "Me & U" a one hit wonder. Also Sara Bareilles "Love Song" and Amy Winehouse "Rehab"

Wasn't Ashlee Simpson a one-hit wonder in the billboard hot 100 with "Pieces Of Me"? And what is considered a hit, do the songs have to be in the top 20? or top 50?, or at least make an appearance at this chart?

She isn't a one-hit wonder. Boyfriend hit #19 and L.O.V.E hit #22. They weren't as big as Pieces of Me, but they were still hits.
Oh, and to answer your question, a "hit" is a song that makes somewhat of an impact on the chart. These songs are usually located in the Top 40 or above. Anything below top 40 really isn't a hit. Also, a song could still hit a high position on the Hot 100, but still be a flop. An example of this is Lil Mama's Shawty Get Loose, or at least in my opinion. It hit #10, but it dropped quickly out of the Top 40 in only 2 weeks and made no impact whatsoever. So yeah, that is what makes a song a "hit".

Also the artist's previous chart run. If a song reaches around the same number as their previous single whether or not if it's in the top 20 it's a moderate hit/sell.

The Corrs one hit wonder???
The fact that they had only one hit this decade doesn't make them "one hit wonders" or "one hit wonders of the decade" if you want to stick to the name of the thread.
