DEATH at you thinking she had more control on Blackout than In The Zone. If that were the case, we would have had the original "Gimme More" video. Britney would have fought, like she did with her "In The Zone" era. BUT guess what? Britney just didn't care.

Where does he say she had more control?

he said that Blackout is the album of her career and then us getting into the In The Zone vs Blackout implied everything.

That doesn't mean he said she had more control in one album or the other. People have their own opinions. I personally couldn't choose. Both albums are very important to her career IMO.

Death at you not paying attention through the Blackout era. Remember her vma performance? Imagine that body in skimpy clothing? They only edited in the pole dancing scenes and there was a huge backlash about her body. If you look at her legs in the gimme more pictures you can see celluite and poor britney was saying she looked like a pig so she and jive probably both agreed to cut those scenes out. It's horrible though that it did get to Britney though because we probably missed out on a masterpiece that her creative
Vision. Britney did have creative control, you obviously don't understand the impact an executive producer has on an album
P.S. I see Britney as her breakthrough but i see what you mean because in the zone here we got to hear britney as a woman and not a teenager for the first. I feel Blackout is a breakout because it showed that she was ahead of the game. Music from Blackout could still be a hit today and i can imagine. Them possibly still being that way in a year or two as well, unless the industry drastically changes

Blackout is important to her career because of all the wrong reasons. It will be remembered as the album she made when she was crazy. I love Blackout. it's my second favorite album from her but it stays there.

I didn't say she had more control. I'm saying she still had a impact of control still on blackout. Clearly when it came to promotion and marketing of blackout, you can see in the zone had more britney involved in them

It is not for all the wrong reasons. Maybe a hater/terrible fan would only see the bad. But it has good in it, the album is one of her best critical successes, "Piece of Me" was a huge worldwide hit from it, and overall it is a great album. For people who go back and listen to her music, the album will be one of the highlights.

...Baby One More Time, Oops!... I Did It Again, In The Zone and My Prerogative had bigger singles than Blackout's singles. Oops! is also one of her best critical successes. Sin your view, Blackout is coming out like the fourth most important album in her career.

Critical success=being highly rated by the critics not how well your singles do

his statement says...
In The Zone is the most important album of her career followed by Oops!... I Did It Again and THEN Blackout.

I don't care , 2 warning points don't bother me i don't have any others
and blackout was one of britney most important if it wasn't soo good, britney would probably be irrelvant today.
plus it didn't get critical praise it deserved at the time of release due to her public image clouding reveiws, but it got it in the end

What the **** are you even talking about? I never said it was more important than her other albums. If you can read, I only said ITZ & Blackout are very important. Not "more important" or "her most important". You are making your own statements. I didn't compare it to her other albums AT ALL.
Blackout is very important because despite her problems at the time, it spawned worldwide hits, still received great critical success, and it is a great album. It's important BECAUSE despite her being "crazy", she was still able to record/produce an album that received praise and success. If it were a terrible album, with terrible music, it would've got completely trashed, flopped, and Britney probably wouldn't have had as big of a comeback. You can't seriously be so stupid to think it's easy to just forget the album, when it has some important qualities to where she is today. Many reviews that praised the album even said that despite her life being a mess, she is still the Britney Spears who can make good music.

Well, blackout was a good era for britney
she got her first best video of the year awards on vmas and another 2 with piece of me
she released some of the greatest songs ever (including my fave song from her, Get naked )
and a lot more

The comma seperates piece of me from the critical part. It's implied as we got a worldwide hit out of blackout proving that it wasn't negative for britney.
Critical success is from critics not success of singles.

Oops!... I Did It Again, In The Zone and her Greatest Hits album had spawned bigger worldwide hits AND had more critical success. So you're saying those albums are ahead of Blackout. Stop contradicting yourself.

NO, my statement said

You are always twisting words & making your own idiotic understandings. I made that statement to show why it has good in it, while you only see it is the "crazy" album.

omg. you seriously do not understand.
Oops!, ITZ and her greatest hits album had bigger worldwide hits and the albums got more critical success than Blackout. In his words that puts the albums AHEAD of Blackout. What is so difficult to understand about that?

If we were talking about her entire career, obviously her other albums are far superior in success, idiot. However we're talking about why Blackout was a success. I'm not contradicting myself, because I never mentioned her other albums. You're just a ****ing retard.
