"In the Zone" is epic, she had almost full control during the recording of that album, wrote a number of tracks and it was a 10/10 album and that whole era was perfect actually: a worldwide #1 album and 3 consecutive worldwide #1 singles.

"Blackout" is her weakest album for me. It's still great though, it's just not Britney for me.

In The Zone no doubt about it is a masterpiece but Blackout is just epic. It used auto tune for effect and wasn't annoying and made good pop records. After all I know you like Ke$ha, Cahleb, I likr her two but her songs too but she is more overproduced than any song on Blackout

Ke$ha is a guilty pleasure. I don't take her seriously one bit.

the "only" difference? that's ONE HUGE difference.

1. Britney wrote the songs.
2. Britney had creative control.
3. Britney did everything.

In The Zone is her breakout album. and is the album that defines her career. Blackout will be remembered as the "meltdown" album.

She also had tons of creative control on Blackout. She was the executive producer meaning she had control of stuff like the tracklisting and finances. And when you are putting money into a project you obviously get a say

In The Zone though is great though. I would love to see another everytime or shadow but more evolved and fresh instead of imitation. Same goes with The Hook Up

As i already said Britney was the executive producer of the album. That means she talked to producers on what songs she wanted to record and the tracklisting. And don't just say they only pay for it because when aaliyah was exectuive producing her last album she chose the songs and talked to producers on what she wanted. Honey, a breakout album is the album that puts your career on the map. Whatever you meant, I don't see how that means she can't create yet another album to top that. Look at Madonna. Ray of Light is the album that defines her, yet it was what? Her SEVENTH studio album. This new album so far looks like it will be a huge album for Britney, and she needs that right now. Mainly because Blackout was completely overlooked, and Circus isn't exactly an album to remember forever. Also both didn't get the recognition they should've.
