I wonder if a landslide Clinton victory will finally refute the 'Americans are dumber than Europeans and Asians' myth. I also wonder if Clinton has many more things to do.. it's become obvious now that Trump has a weak spot (his ego), but perhaps Clinton has reached her max possible voters or is very close to it.
Also, the democratic party has to be very careful with moving to the centre and appealing to centre-right republicans. If the Democratic party became the only party of the elite it would be disastrous for the image of the party. There needs to be an elite in both major parties. If the Republican party dies out or splits up, it's better if the republican elite moves to the libertarian party rather than the democratic party to not be portrayed ad the elite's party, which would make the party very unappealing for low-income white voters.

Johnson is infinitely more qualified than Stein and I would have no problems with him as president (even though that's never going to happen), but how can anyone who has ever supported Bernie support Johnson?
He's literally the antithesis of Bernie on economic issues.
Probably the same kind of people who voted for Brexit when the EU was the only thing keeping them from complete poverty.

The EU does not have the rights to fight poverty by the way... at least not in rich countries. Maybe it's better to compare to LibDem voters who voted for Brexit
