What are official positions on the death penalty? Is it as clear as Republicans saying Keep it and Democrats saying Delete it?

I'm asking because Connecticut just became the latest state to repeal it.

Not the same IMO. Patti was used to reinforce the narrative that Hillary is a murderer and liar. (which is false). Khan family was used to show that what Trump says about Muslims and vets are 1) not presidential 2) against the Constitution that says we have religious freedom. The latter was appropriate. The former was a witch hunt.

This has only been blown up because Trump responded and disrespected these people to no point of return. As you can see, Hillary said, "Sorry. I did not say what Patti alleged." She didn't insult her.

I honestly think that this is more being drawn out by Trump, as he has so often done, refusing to say he was wrong and continuing his line of attack.

I think the 91% is just for the Clinton-Trump matchup with no third party options, but I might be wrong

People who wanted #BernieSanders to be the nominee are 69% Clinton, 13% Stein, 10% Johnson, 3% Trump.
