You're comparing Arin to CB and acting as if Chris has never sung a damn ballad before.
Arin is basically Usher 2.0, and wow what do you know Usher sings many ballads! Arin sang two uptempos before this week, excuse him for showing versatility.
Beatrice's voice is a damn mess when singing uptempos. Britney is smart in making her do soulful ballads. Beatrice's voice gets a little irritating when even singing those, I could only imagine what screeching she does when she tries uptempos.
Diamond's song choices have been fine. "Halo" was right up her lane.

His arrogant rants are usually funny, but this time it was disrespectful and so unprofessional. I'm very disappointed. 
I think L.A. was given them because he could handle it - though I think he was more prepared for the teens or young adults. I mean, he brought Justin Bieber in as help. Lol.
