Just finished Eden Lake and wow... the ending was kinda sad

If we're being brutally honest, I would've ****ed those kids up the moment I told them to turn their music down and they were being little bitches about it. Point blank. If not at that moment, then the moment they stole the car. The wife was so dumb tho. Just sitting there while her husband got stabbed, she's the reason he died tbh. And her not noticing that the boy she spoke too at the beginning of the movie was leading her the wrong way... OBVIOUSLY if you're going back the way you came that's not the right way. ALSO, her trying to hide the husband while leaving his head in the OPEN The husband was kinda dumb too. Him not being able to get out the car when all the kids did was let the seat back

All in all, tthe wife should've just jumped in the fight at with the little brats at the campfire. They're like 12. All they had to do was get rid of Brett because they mostly did what he said.

Good movie tho.

I watched The Conjuring 2 last night and it wasn't that scary. But some things didn't make sense

how did they not believe the girl even after they saw the tape of her throwing stuff around the kitchen? Like the demon could have possessed her body and thrown the stuff around. when they left i was like shocked because they should know these things can happen. BYE. and what was up with the crooked man? how does he tie into the story. and how did valek manage to block that man from leaving. i kinda know what she did but it still doesn't make sense. can someone explain please. valek was messy though. i wasn't scared of her but she was still scary.

I was thinking the same thing about why they didn't believe the girl, like how could she humanly have the strength to throw a table like that? The entire case appeared to be a possession so I didn't understand that The Crooked Man was just another conduit for Valek. The house provided the spirit of the old man and the Crooked Man toy, so those are what Valek used to attempt her possession. The Warrens outsmarted her obviously which is when she had to go in as her true identity. Valek was one of the most powerful demons of the underworld, something leaning more towards the devil itself, so she had power over other demons/ghosts.

oh thanks i get it now. one more question: is valek male or female. me and sister keep on arguing about it but i think she's a woman because only woman can be nuns

That's the only part that didn't make sense - how was she able to do that, if she was faking it..

Lorraine basically had a premonition of her husband's death by the Nun / Valek, but didn't know that she followed them to London until the end of the film. She used the old man as a conduit or a puppet to cause problems, without Lorraine finding out. And because Nun is one of the most powerful demons, she's able to control other demons and cover up her tracks / block Lorraine's powers.

Valek / The Nun is a female demon and she's played by the same actress, who played the maid, with braille on her face, in the ANTI room campaign.

Now she's starring in the spin-off film, which comes out next year, which'll also be directed by Wan, of Insidious and SAW.

This sounds amazing! Hopefully the lead character is an "innocent man framed!!!!" type typical loser. I need full on crazy from everyone.

Saw The Conjuring 2 last night. It was AMAZING. Easily one of my top 10 favorite horror movies already. I personally liked it more than the first one. The first one's ending was spectacular and the beginning was solid, but the second one was scarier throughout.

The Nun was terrifying. The painting scene was one of the scariest extended sequences ever. The old man's voice coming out of Janet was perfectly done, and I personally liked the Crooked Man. I just loved everything about it.

AND I appreciate that they didn't kill a dog in this one

And Lorraine's big moment at the end was done so well. It truly felt epic.

I'm excited for Lights Out now.
