Are the three latter even worth watching?
The Boy was messy but the ending was original, The Forest was depressing and annoying and Clown was a MESS. Skip it! 10 Cloverfield Lane was amazing and I'm yet to see the other two

If you enjoy slow-burners, you'll like The Witch. The Boy is terrible. 10CL is a masterpiece. I really enjoyed The Forest and I haven't seen the last two.
Rewatched "The Conjuring" right before I went to see the sequel. It literally left me shaking, I couldn't even get up to turn on the lights and it was freaking 12:00 pm Such a scary dark and twisted film. Honestly, I think I can safely say it became one of my all-time favs.
As of the sequel, it was great. It scared the **** out of me too. The acting was superb. Vera is on another level. The only thing that I do not understand how it goes with the story (and how that can be considered "based on true events) is the
Crooked man
The CGI was terrible, it wasn't scary, it was so laugh-worthy. I don't understand why they put that in there.
It's about a huge prison that houses all of the most terrifying serial killers/murderers that escape from their cells during a blackout. Nearly all of the actors in the movie are classic horror icons and it's a huge tribute to horror.
