Can anyone point out some awesome mixtape songs/unreleased songs? i listened to her mixtapes in the past but don't remember liking anything lol. I do like a few tracks on this one though. Pretend, 2 On, The first part of the Future featured song and The title track
Also check out Middle of Nowhere, This Feeling, Let You Love Me, I Tried and Another Me.
Tbh I agree with you. The single choices were not a true reflection of the album. I think RCA just wanted a quick hit song and now the album bombed. Which is sad, cuz despite my "outlandish predictions" Aquarius is a solid album.
I thought she had a modest first week, and it's fell off over last couple of weeks? What did she sell?
If ya'll wanna discuss Jhené Aiko, go to her base or her album thread. Don't sit in this thread pretending to claim Tinashe when you're just looking for an opportunity to drag her based on something as inconsequential as sales.
She made a great album (backed by the Metacritic score, higher than a lot of her contemporaries btw!) and has the chance to carry sales with a collection of potential singles that have a distinct enough sound to make the album not sound like one long ass song........ but like I said, if that's what you're into, there are other threads on this forum for that
I think we're all just making observations, no one is trying to drag her. There comes a point when **** is, what it is... No one said the album is over or that the album sounded horribly...just that business decisions weren't the best (single selection mainly). Not a reflection on Tinashe as an artist.

'Pretend' definitely is an urban record idk where y'all got 'pop' from. And its not only cuz ASAP is on it, it just has a hip hop/R&B flow to it theres nothing pop to it lol
anyways 'All Hands on Deck' should be the next single, end of discussion. it should've been the second tbh.
