I ended up voting for Beyoncé. Her Destiny's Child work is old enough to be talked about and a good number of their singles (Survivor, Soldier, Say My Name, Bug-a-Boo, etc.) are still remembered very fondly. Really? That song still comes on all the time and was on an 8x platinum album. My five year old nephew knows it just from the recurrent radio play it's gotten. How do you not know it?

Rihanna. it always gets me when the Hive say all her singles are forgettable despite being huge smashes, but RTW gets 200m views and Love On Top scrapes platinum and "iconic!!!! memorable!!! wow!!" is thrown around.
memorability is about more than youtube views, chart positions and certifications. Im sure Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey songs everyone knows have less views than Rihanna and Katy Perry songs on Youtube

Neither in mine. They all are always talking about "Say My Name" and their memorable hits which i dont have a clue about. I heard them several times already and i keep forgetting how they sound. The only song of them that was a big memorable hit here is Lose My Breath and her stans never talk about it as a memorable song
Beyonces hits will be and are more memorable. So many covers and remixes not only of fans, Stan's, and amateurs, but of major music artist as well. Sugar land, Emilie sandie, Coldplay, etc. not to mention her music has been sampled in major artists work as well. You would hear rihanna more now cause she has more recent hits. But beyonces singles are engraved in culture. Single ladies is mtvs best video of all time. And best of our generation. Let's ask this question in 5-10 more yrs....
