Oh, of course...except, you know, for the fact that *Taylor Swift* won that award in 2010. TAYLOR SWIFT. And I LIKE Taytay's music to an extent, but come on. Then again, her fellow nominees were the likes of BEP, Beyoncé and DAVE MATTHEWS BAND, so it's not like the Grammys had a lot to choose from.
Embarrassment or not, it could not touch 2010 for levels of embarrassment.
I was thinking of Taylor Swift and "Fearless" as I was writing my post, actually. I just think that with the music released this year, I hope the Grammys do not go the shameless commercial route again and especially with that album!
I think 21 is the best album released this year and easily deserves an Album of the Year Grammy. I imagine the people saying it doesn't would rather see it go to GaGa That would be the biggest travesty in Grammy history.
The only other albums that deserve Album of the Year apart from 21 are Kanye's MBDTF and Femme Fatale imo, but since FF has about as much chance as Rebecca Black, it's a two horse race with Kanye and Adele neck and neck.
