they're right tho. Beyonce only gets acclaim because of her name and skin color, nothing else. Her music is no different from any other popstar's and if they were reversed you would see the "acclaim" is just blind critics thumbing through their thesaurus for enough descriptions to flatter her with before they hit their word quota.

I think visually the album is a clear masterpiece, I don't like the songs apart from a few here and there, musically it's not her best work. But I appreciate the level of innovation and creativity she took with this album.
