Sometimes , I wonder why dont the Beyonce fans shut the f**k up for a while and enjoy their music but have to convience others to agree it's an unbeatable album. Sales wise maybe, but saying the quality, it still cannot get out the formular of pop songs in this generation. Stop the overrating and let here be a little more peaceful. Even "Emotion" by Carly Rae Jepsen has better structure in terms of lyrics and riff.

if she could be able to meet Tom Tempertom, I dont see she is a weak songwriter. Besides, Beyonce has the budget to invite tons of potential producers and writers, why wouldnt you think the album "is meant to be good" but "a lot of hard work" meh, as well as the amount of writers and producers in one song lmao....

I guess people have a problem when a alberm isn't serving them bops. Leomande is as easy-listening as it can be but it's meaning and poignancy can be easily missed, i agree. The thing is Beyoncé's music is becoming more personal and mature, teh more pleased listeners will be the ones who can relate to this aspects (older audiences). It's all a part of her evolution as a musician and it's beautiful to see.

Maybe it’s because I’m a black woman. A black woman who cried tears when I read about Trayvon Martin or upon seeing those awful videos of Eric Garner and Sandra Bland, and then again each time murderers got away without so much as a slap on the wrist. I get how a privileged middle aged white man from Surrey doesn’t feel that pain, but when I saw Trayvon Martin’s picture I saw my nephew. When I saw Eric Garner, I saw my uncle. When I saw Sandra Bland, I saw my auntie. I get why you don’t get it.

My favorite part
I understood this a while back. That's why I don't care when ATRL makes ignorant comments about the album. They just can't understand it and their music palette isn't developed at all
