Not really. They're trying to end exclusives, which means partnerships with just one company. There are plenty of streaming services for exclusive artists to join besides Spotify!

These deals are so stressful to fans that it makes them want to buy albums even less than they already are. Labels are losing out on money. It's only a logical decision.
