It is not, I like the arrangement of CC. I have just never gotten into GG and this in general for me. CC is catchier too.

^how covers work is the artist would have to get permission from the artist to perform a song even when the cover artist themselves released it. Something like that. I don't think she dislikes I Told You So

Probably the same reason other artist tend to perform certain singles all the time no matter what the circumstance is. I suspect she likes the song.

I think it's appropriate because it was "I Told You So" that she sung moments before she got inducted to the Opry. It also won her a Grammy and is a classic country song that the crowd usually enjoys.
