Justin and One Directions main source of profit come from touring which is why One Direction tours pretty much every single year.

Justin's team is smart. They will get more publicity from beating out the British boyband no one likes. Justin's image has been improving little by little and his team is making sure everything goes in the right direction.

At the end of the day, neither artist will likely see much from their album sales profit since majority of that will go to the company anyways so who cares how much revenue it generates?

Is it his fault he has people outside of his fanbase willing to buy his music? Both are quite impressive in this sales climate so I don't see the point in knocking one persons sales because he can sell singles at the same time

Slay Justin best album this year with Rebel Heart but he is actually gonna get the #1.

Kudos to his team his album is great and had a proper release. I am so team Justin now and never thought I would say that but it's clearly the better album without any doubts on my end.

There's no karma. And they're not trying to outshine. If they were they would have tried a lot harder in promoting the album, yet they still haven't touched the US this week yet.

They always release during this team, each year. They always release several songs leading up to the album. There's nothing different than Bieber comeback and happening to have same date due to avoiding Adele. Justin is the one who has been bragging about the competition whilst they've barely said anything if at all I don't think.

Just chill. They're both having huge numbers and helping the industry this week.
