If the plane is about to crash, they tell you to do this, supposedly because it "protects" you when it crashes:
But in reality, doing that can just kill you because with the impact of the crash it can break your neck or crush your head.
The airlines know this, and they fool you with this to try to make sure there are no survivors or the less survivors as possible, because those who survived can sue the airlines for millions and most likely win the case, so they do that so they don't lose money.
Just disturbing

Investing your money with a firm is a complete waste. 9 times out of 10 you're better off just putting it in index funds.

My friend told me that Subway just renames their sauces and advertises them as "new"

I did this aswell with my last job.
Even when I knew things were out of stock, I said I would look in the back, took an extra break, and came back only to say it was out of stock.
I started this after customers started screaming and shouting that I took no effort to look for them, even if I had searched for it for an other customer ten minutes before they came in. So I guess it's better to pretend and go a way for a bit, then to actually be honest

I've read the emergency guides in all the planes I've been on and this was never what I was instructed to do, it was to reach for the helmet and parachute above your seat, wear them, inflate the parachute and jump off the plane.

I remember getting the weirdest looks from an employee when I went into a CD shop and bought a Madonna album from the 80's for my friend

Rubbed the bread on the sides of the dumpster we had out back , and chewed some of my nails off and put it in their sandwhiches. When they were leaving they dropped their keys , I picked em up and flushed them down the toilet. They came back looking but obvioulsy couldnt find them. They tipped me 15$ for helping them look. So sad , they had to walk home in the rain .

I found that out the hard way after I started singing "Get Low" with my friend, and the window lady said "have fun getting low" to us. I was mortified

That said, I've worked in fast food for 3 years, so I know exactly what it's like dealing with the public, so every time I go out, I always make sure to be nice and friendly. You'll never guess the difference it makes if you say "May I please have a___" Instead of "Give me a ___"
To all of you who are 'cool' for spitting in food, or just being disrespectful at your job, there is a common saying "kill them with kindness" It works, and you can't get in trouble for it. Don't know why half of you bother working if you don't like it that much. I'm sure when you were hired you were asked if you could be respectful and helpful at your job, which some of you seem to be failing at.

2 years later and I still feel the same...some of you are pure trash

That's strange, because it's a very friendly thing to do. I actually appreciate it.

Lemme add a few more. I work at a pawnshop. If you don't know how they work, you come in with an item, we give you money for that item. We hold it for 30 days. You come back in 30 days, pay us back the money + interest and we give you back your item. If you don't come back or can't pay, we sell your item.
1. 'Extensions' are the biggest scam ever. I've seen people pay for extensions every single month for literally YEARS. All you're paying for is for us to leave your dusty item on a shelf. Once, someone finally let go of their laptop after he had been paying extensions for 3 years. He paid us $310 for what was originally a $40 loan. Plus we got to keep his item and sell it.
2. Pawnshops have a much longer grace period than you think. We don't even look at getting rid of your item until at least a month after payment was due. I get calls every damn day with people fretting that they are a day or two late. You're fine.
3. At least half of the items were selling were absolutely filthy at one point. If they look dirty on the shelf, chances are that they were at one point so absolutely disgusting that we couldn't even scrub the dirt out.
4. The system of storing your items is not sophisticated in the slightest. Literally, all it is a room full of shelves with items organized by a number and date. We have to 'shuffle' these shelves at least once a week and things can get pretty bashed up. Other peoples items get piled on yours to save space. Once someone dropped a PS4 off the shelf while shuffling and smashed it on the floor. Your prize possession becomes just a number on a shelf.
