But I meant generally, hip hop tends to be more critically lauded, despite ignorant white people thinking it's all about sex, money and drugs. That just seems like something like Fox News forces down people's throats because their kids are a bunch of wiggers.
Its so funny to me how everyone is love Tina now when I swear a few months ago like 3 of us were trying to get everyone into her but y'all were like nah!
Follow suggestions sometimes!
The funny thing is that a lot of that sampled music become classics again. I can name so many situations. I prefer that to cheaply produced standard beats that are used over and over that Dr. Luke fans cream over so much.
I never understood why Dr. Dre and Eminem associated themselves with trash like 50 Cent. Editor's Note: Eminem is bordering closely on becoming trash himself.
"There was a lot of ******** I'm not used to," Auerbach tells senior writer Brian Hiatt. "The label says, 'We're not going to give you the budget to extend this session unless we hear something.' And we send them the rough mix and they ****ing hate it and they hate the way it's mixed. And it's like, 'Thanks, asshole.'… I think Lana put her foot down. Maybe it's normal for her, but it's not normal for me. Really rubbed me the wrong way. I got really defensive because I thought it was ********.

The story I got told," he continues, "is that they played it for her label person and they said, "We're not putting out this record that you and Dan made unless you meet with the Adele producer. And she said, 'Fine, whatever.' And she was late to the meeting, so while they were waiting, the label guy played what we recorded for the Adele producer and he said, 'This is amazing, I wouldn't do anything to change this.' And here's the kicker: Then all of a sudden, the label guy said, 'Well, yeah, I think it's great, too.'"

"Every criticism that I'd ever heard about her was proven wrong when I was in the studio with her," he says. "From how great the songs were to how confident she is as a musician to her ****ing singing every song live, with a handheld microphone and a seven-piece band. I mean, get the **** out of here, who does that? Nobody does that, there hasn't been a number one pop record that was recorded like that in forty, fifty years."
But that's the thing, sampled music is very prevalent in hip hop and to pretend otherwise is being delusional. But it's the technique or usage of the sampled music that separates the artists from the trash. Kanye West is virtually the only hip hop artist that properly knows how to implement a sample in a smart and interesting way. "Power," for example.
Alas, for every "Power," you have a "Feel This Moment."
So he's basically saying that the fat bitch he married is suffering from the same lack of rights as black people in the 60s? How to take a HUGE dump on every black person in history who has ever suffered from discrimination

On his celebrity rant during his wedding speech.
And what I talked about in it was the idea of celebrity, and celebrities being treated like blacks were in the '60s, having no rights, and the fact that people can slander your name. I said that in the toast. And I had to say this in a position where I, from the art world, am marrying Kim. And how we're going to fight to raise the respect level for celebrities so that my daughter can live a more normal life. She didn't choose to be a celebrity. But she is. So I'm going to fight to make sure she has a better life.
I'm sitting right here, it's a fight. I'm fighting with the way I line my words up together and the way I place a sweater on top of a T-shirt. At this point, people know what's up. People know I'm smart. And people know that, whether it's SNL or Jimmy Kimmel, it's a trend to take the piss out of celebrity—just as much of a trend as wearing a gray hoodie or driving a Prius.

Kim Kardashian is too good for Kanye. She should have married someone more global, would have been much better for her brand. She's Armenian so she can literally get anyone she wants. Also, Kim is more talented than ScarHoe JohMANsson sooooooo
