It really is. Jessy Lanza's album was critically lauded this past year, but it was so dull to me. Probably because it's some Caucasian lady singing R&B-leaning vocals over sparse electronic production.

It shows that creating a really incredible rap album is possible even if its not really innovating. It reminds me of Kaleidoscope Dream in that aspect(not as good obviously).
