If someone doesn't carry themselves as at least equal to the opposite sex, then they won't be treated as equal.
When someone so well placed in the public eye carries themselves in such a manner, then the impact is greater.

What about Man Down, G4L, in her interviews she always praises her mother and grandmother for teaching her about what it means to be a woman, and her best friend Melissa about helping her embrace her feminine side.

Her recent lipstick with MAC all sales are going to fighting for Aids and she believes this is important for young girls, she always talks about women embracing their inner power and being strong.

I don't think it's Rihanna's issue that she loved Chris and he seemed to turn disrespectful towards her after the Incident, it's not her issue that Drake used her name to get into the Industry when clearly it was a fling. I agree she could pick better men but what do we know? People show you what they want to show you when you first begin dating, it isn't until later that you discover their true colors.

It was foolish for her to go back to Chris when he's been disrespectful but love makes you do dumb ****. She's never disrespected any of them because she's above such mess.

I think Rihanna respects herself and she refuses to carry herself how other people would like her to do and that's her right to do so, she handles the criticism and does what feels natural to her that's a great message to send to your fans when so many people base their lives on how others want them to behave and how society wants us to conduct ourselves in certain settings.
