I watched Confessions a couple nights ago and it was crazy at first it was tiring having to keep up with the constant dialogue and reading the subtitles, but as it went on it got more interesting and I grew to like to fast pace. It was visually beautiful also.

I watched it a couple weeks ago and I liked it, I don't understand why the critics didn't. It had a slight Zombieland vibe obviously but it was still good, and had great visuals. Plus the main guy is hot.
She was decent. She played with what she had, especially when stuff got weird.
They really could have done so much better with this story tho, no matter how offensive. Scares are very minimal, which is what I look for when these films get dragged. It could at least then be a guilty pleasure horror. But no it was a lot of walking around and constant explanation of the forest.
The best part was The Conjuring 2 trailer playing. Entire theater was excited / praising the first one.
I just finished Scouts Guide to Zombie Apocalypse and it was ****ING BRILLIANT. I'm blown away. Truly one of the best zombie movies i've ever seen and an incredible ride.
This **** was SOO hilarious. I swear i haven't laughed this hard in a VERY long time. That Britney Spears scene
The cats scene
Amazing

Gorl BYE not when I sported an avi of it like weeks ago
It's really awesome It's #6 on my Best of 2015 Movies
Are you bored of "scary" movies that use loud music to make you jump for no reason? Are you sick of pu**y-ass directors with ZERO guts leaving the monster "up to the audience's imagination because it's scarier that way"? Are you tired of wasting money on horror movies where the protagonist is about to see something scary, then they open the door and there is f***ing NOTHING THERE except a total waste of your anticipation?
Then you are going to love this.
It's about a haunted house, familiar territory for all of us, but this movie is a loving tribute to horror back when it actually used to BE horror.. Audiences today come out of the cinema disappointed by jerky cameras, loud jump music, catching like a blurry half-peek at a shadow running by the camera, and that's supposed to scare us because directors have totally run out of ideas, but this movie is completely different. The bad guys in this film are absolutely monstrous, and they are the STARS of the film. The producers are not afraid to show you their faces dead-on, and you will love every spine-chilling moment of it.
Watch it in the dark, and don't take your eyes off it for a second. This is by far the boldest, most daring, most provocative film I have seen in years.
it was bad? if it was what a waste of an amazing concept... the storyline seems exactly the same as this
both about the twin sister and trying to explain what happened.. but I thought the suicide forest was a great idea sad to hear it sucked.
It was mainly a huge waste of concept. That trailer alone is more exciting.
They could've extended it about 30 minutes, added better backstory and some more action/suspense. But there was way too much random dialogue, wandering around, etc. The most they used of it actually being the suicide forest were terrible CGI ghosts and like I said in my longer rant, constant explanation of what the forest was - but no real use of the concept.
Oh well. Next up is The Boy. I fear it's gonna be like Annabelle, since you actually don't see the doll doing anything in the trailer. Might wait for that one to just leak.
I can't believe the Cloverfield sequel is going to be released in 2 months It's one of my favorite movies, and after Super 8, i thought they abandoned the idea of a sequel.
I'll try and keep up with this thread and do a post in the OP with what horror movies are coming out this year.. SO excited for the Cloverfield sequel though
wtf t cloverfield coming out of nowhere!! like there was no talk or news about this getting a sequel at all!! I follow horror websites and no one mentioned this before but YASS
