omg, perfect thread for me.
You guys HAVE to watch this movie
Are you bored of "scary" movies that use loud music to make you jump for no reason? Are you sick of pu**y-ass directors with
ZERO guts leaving the monster "up to the audience's imagination because it's scarier that way"? Are you tired of wasting money on horror movies where the protagonist is about to see something scary, then they open the door and there is f***ing NOTHING THERE except a total waste of your anticipation?
Then you are going to love this.
It's about a haunted house, familiar territory for all of us, but this movie is a loving tribute to horror back when it actually used to BE horror.. Audiences today come out of the cinema disappointed by jerky cameras, loud jump music, catching like a blurry half-peek at a shadow running by the camera, and that's supposed to scare us because directors have totally run out of ideas, but this movie is completely different. The bad guys in this film are absolutely monstrous, and they are the STARS of the film. The producers are not afraid to show you their faces dead-on, and you will love every spine-chilling moment of it.
Watch it in the dark, and don't take your eyes off it for a second. This is by far the boldest, most daring, most provocative film I have seen in years.
