I'm not sure why Nait felt the need to "admit" to coming up with the ideas, me and Monte have done nothing but praise Nait for his excellent work, we've given him credit many times in this thread.
If y'all want me to be honest I had no idea Nait was going to do the remix, that just turned up in the final PM he sent to me before he was submitting the entry, if I knew he was going to be making that much effort I would have done more but there wasn't time. Nait made the graphics which were excellent, but all 3 of us had input on the theme of the entry and we each selected one song and did one write up. I'm not trying to take credit away from Nait but y'all are making it sound like me and Monte did nothing
Yeah I do agree with this. Nait did excellent and while he did make the theme, me and Dick did have input on the theme as well as what songs worked well together. We even helped him choose his so it's not like we were sitting ducks and he did all the work. It was a collaborative effort on all of our parts and we praised him for making the theme look especially nice. I also had no idea the remix was going to be included as well so it was a pleasant surprise that it showed up. I had some reservations with it but it showed up last minute and I didn't have time to say anything.
I just want to clear everything up because it seems like the blame is on us for getting Nait eliminated when it was equally all of us since we were in a team effort and we all agreed/did work on it
I put Huga's trinity at the bottom because their trinity wasn't as consistent with per say, the Rap trinity who took us through the differing evolution that the genre has taken. It was basically three of the same country songs, and country has a lot to offer for a genre. It was stated right there in my comments.
The formatting had nothing to do with it or how it was presented either.

That's my bitterness talking. Can you really blame me? I know, I didn't mean to put so much blame on you guys. It's not like I wrote the right-ups for you or chose the songs, which really are the MOST important parts of the trinity. Sorry, for that...

It's okay, you definitely excelled yourself this week and didn't deserve to go, I can understand why you're a bit annoyed. I would have gladly helped out more if I knew you were going to such lengths with the remix etc. Hopefully our paths will cross in another game and we can slay
Not the controversy overshadowing the next challenge.
I didn't see this big of a deal being made when Sebas was eliminated for being a threat. I almost feel like everyone is implying that CBXC, Jad, Addicted and Rated deserved to go more, which is kind of mean and not fair to them and their contributions thus far.
So, you eliminated us because of the amount of work we put into the last trinity not knowing "exactly" how much more work we put into it? Okay, that makes me feel SOOOOOOO much better...

Especially in Nait's case, considering his efforts were praised by the judges and he was essentially eliminated because his teammates, according to the judges themselves, weighed the submission down. (No shade AT ALL to either Addicted or RatedG² -- I personally thought you both did well too. )
If it had been an individual challenge, he probably would have stood a chance at a spot in the Golden Trinity, you know? It kind of sucks that things had to happen this way, but he was a big threat so I guess I shouldn't be complaining.
But, the fact is, Nait and Huga DID put the most work into their respective trinities. So I can ONLY assume that they were the main factors in each group's low ranking and that's why they were eliminated.

Oh, I see. So, you're saying it's because of us that our teams were in the bottom. We're the reason we were eliminated. We're the weakest link in our respective groups. Okay, I get it now...

Well, I didn't really have any reason to assume otherwise. Do you feel that the ranking your team was placed in was a result of the other members of your team moreso than yourself?
Either way, we already admitted that you ARE a threat. A strong one at that. That was probably more of a factor in your elimination more than your actual trinity.
If I were in the flop trinity, and the Golden Trinity eliminated me based ONLY the fact that I was a threat, I wouldn't mind that. I would hope that you feel the same. This is a game after all. Trying to have less threats is only natural and expected.
And again, this is JUST a game. I really don't want you to harbor any resentment against any of us or me for just doing what we were supposed to do. You seem like a really nice member and I didn't have ANY pleasure in eliminating you or Huga. And I will most definitely miss both of you.

I know it's just a game. Don't feel so bad...
I just don't like the idea I was eliminated because I'm a "threat". I don't see that. I can't see that. I've never actually been a "threat" to anyone or the "go-to" guy, so it's just... weird... to even be considered a threat...
I guess we should leave the argument with this message:
If and when () there are other partner challenges, make sure it doesn't look too much like one person's work.
