He was the biggest threat in the entire competition (sans Anna)
I'm sorry to see you go Huga

Personally I voted for Huga because I felt he was a bit of a one trick pony with his entries all presented in a narrative format, and that also seemed to be the reason his team landed in the bottom this round. I did not see a lot of input from the other two members, it looked like Huga was the driving force behind their entry so I thought it would be unfair to eliminate one of the others when they worked with his concept.

It was a tough decision to make and I feel incredibly bad for eliminating Nait on the terms that he was a threat, but it had to do be done. I'm sorry, sis.

Excuse me, but we had no problem calling Nait Phoenix a threat. If that were the case with Huga, we would have said so as well.
Not that I have to explain anything to you, but it was the same thing week after week and it was rather obvious that the entry was all his doing, why eliminate the other two for his mistakes?
Yes, he was one of the strongest players but in the case of this elimination, it was solely based on the entry.

OMG, wow... well, I guess since I'm eliminated, I should just admit that the whole EDM design was pretty much my idea, including the graphic and how we made the choices and, obviously, the remix. And I love that the comments basically said I followed the theme the best, which further puts the nail on the coffin.
To be honest, I knew I'd be eliminated because of that fact. I put in so much effort I knew I wouldn't be rewarded for it, I never am on these games. Oh well, adios, good luck to the rest... and whatever...

But weren't a couple of contestants saying they wouldn't be able to get online this weekend? Good luck to them...

Not two of my favorite contestants being eliminated. I got excited to judge because Huga's entries were some of the most creative I've seen in the entire games section. Wrong choice. Giving all the Golden Trinity flop scores from now on.

If you loved his entries so much, why didn't you rate him higher last round?

And I don't like eliminating anyone but it was quite clear that the driving forces for the 2 lowest trinities were Huga and Nait. It was blatantly obvious. So, we weren't going to penalize the other members of each group when these 2 members had the most predominant input in each of their respective groups, who also happened to rank the lowest.
But I will miss both of you! I really enjoyed everyone's entries genuinely! But that's just how the game is played and you gotta watch your back.

What a controversial double elimination. It's unfortunate Katie wasn't able to at least provide rankings; I almost feel as though last round's elimination was too big a deal for just two judges.

CBXC and Jad. I wouldn't complain either as I do have a few other commitments this weekend, but I'll probably be able to get something together in time either way.

So, you eliminated us because of the amount of work we put into the last trinity not knowing "exactly" how much more work we put into it? Okay, that makes me feel SOOOOOOO much better...

Punishing the others for not taking the initiative to lead wouldn't have been unreasonable imo. Especially in Nait's case, considering his efforts were praised by the judges and he was essentially eliminated because his teammates, according to the judges themselves, weighed the submission down. (No shade AT ALL to either Addicted or RatedG² -- I personally thought you both did well too. )
If it had been an individual challenge, he probably would have stood a chance at a spot in the Golden Trinity, you know? It kind of sucks that things had to happen this way, but he was a big threat so I guess I shouldn't be complaining.

I'm not sure why Nait felt the need to "admit" to coming up with the ideas, me and Monte have done nothing but praise Nait for his excellent work, we've given him credit many times in this thread.
If y'all want me to be honest I had no idea Nait was going to do the remix, that just turned up in the final PM he sent to me before he was submitting the entry, if I knew he was going to be making that much effort I would have done more but there wasn't time. Nait made the graphics which were excellent, but all 3 of us had input on the theme of the entry and we each selected one song and did one write up. I'm not trying to take credit away from Nait but y'all are making it sound like me and Monte did nothing
