Scholarships, and financial aid tbh. I'm an independent so I get quite a lot of government aid. Also I go to Howard University which is the least expensive Top 100 University.
My first day of classes tomorrow was cancelled due to the weather.
God is real y'all.
My interview with Vanderbilt was nice. The lady just graduated and was super nice, but she asked some REALLY weird questions that I wasn't prepared for. She said she was writing a stellar recommendation, but I feel like I was too boring, my extracurriculars always led back to school and my dual enrollment courses.
my schedule this semester is a mess, i had placement issues and ended up only having 3 classes i hope people drop classes so i can at least get enough classes to be a full-time student
Doing 2 semester-long research projects in econ, and anthropology is turning out to be interesting. Also I love this section of math, my professor is A+
The GRE= a standardized test for general grad school admissions. It applies for most majors, except a couple like the MBA programs that use GMAT
Transcripts= a summary of your undergrad coursework, your grades for each unit and your weighted GPA
SoP= a statement of purpose/intent (it's usually like 500 to 750 words for most grad schools), basically making your case for admission
Ugh just two more months until these ugly college acceptance/rejection letters come out. I applied to some amazing, some good, some safety. Dear god, I hope I get into UC(LA/B).
Why is my professor making me pay for this dumbass lecture software Tophat? I've never even heard of this before I ****ing hate this education system I'm too poor for this

I had to buy that ******** last semester, it was worth it because everything about that class was online aka I cheated for all of it but it was an annoying fee. My professor blamed Scott Walker for us having to pay for it
I already have a midterm. It's for my Law class and I don't get anything. My instructor uses language none of us understand. She doesn't teach us anything. I'm glad this exam is only worth 15% so I could get away with like a C and still walk away with like 9%.
All my other classes are going very well so far. Got 100% on the Africa Geography Exam.
