Dany's parents were brother and sister as is customary. rhaegar only married elia martell because he didn't have a sister to marry - it wouldn't be a stretch for her to marry jon.

Cersei knew she wouldn't be able to avoid the prophecy as soon as her daughter died. She knew Tommen would also die. He got brainwashed and would have never forgiven her for burning Marg and the others. During their meeting in the previous episodes, I've sensed the carelessness in her tone. She knew she lost him for good.

He didn't ask to be brought back, she and Davos took upon themselves to bring him back. And for that, he didn't behead her. There is nothing worse than a show failing a character. Jon forgiving and be accepting of a children's murder (just becase she brought him back to life) is completely out of character of him and would be ridiculous and fail writing. Cersei still tried to protect Tommen by keeping him in the Red Keep. She must have realised when she was told of his death that there was nothing she could have done to prevent the prophecy and was resigned and numb to it.

Tommen's death was shocking, and so fitting, it perfectly mirrored Bran being pushed out of the window in the pilot episode by Jamie, except this time it was Cersei who effectively pushed him to jump with her actions.

And I have a theory about Cersei dying by her little bother's hand... What if Arya kills Jamie, puts on his face, and uses it to get close to Cersei and kill her? I mean, Cersei is the main one left ok Arya's list, so you know she'll be coming for her next season.

All in all, this was probably the best GoT episode ever, this was the best season, yet, and everything has been set up so wonderfully for an incredibly final two seasons. I can't ****ing wait for next spring to find out what happens next. All I know is that Arya better survive 'til the end 'cause she's still my absolute favorite character. Oh, and we know that she's still going to meet up with Melisandre at some point, so that'll be interesting, I wonder what will come of it.

Wow. I rewatched the whole episode after i've finish watching it. The king's landing scenes are just perfection. Queen Cersie Lannister fka Queen Cersie Baratheon is slaying the game, for now. I'm super excited for the next season. Kind the sad to see Queen Margaery go and Loras kinda serving in this last episode.

I think even if Rhaegar and Lyanna were married. Dany has still the stronger claim since Rhaegar was never a king and Dany is his little sister. And don't you all think the idea of Rhaegar and Lyanna being married is kinda predictable and soap opera-ish for GOT?

The music is awesome especially for the king's landing parts.

Anyway so happy the next season would be 6 episodes. Hoping for it to be action pack and full of dragons and zombies. Ep 9&10 level production.

Its not how it work , mans has always has higher claim than womans. The only way for Danny to be next in liline, is if all her male sibling and her siblings children all died, before it can be her and since Jon is alive and all his step-sibling are dead he is the rightful king by law and tradition. If Jon died than danny is next in line, but she have a huge ass army and 3 dragons she can do whatever she wants.

I don't think Cersei was out of character. She loved her children no matter what and protected them but she has been falling into insanity for two seasons because of the High Septon's actions. Seeing how her child going against her like Tommen isn't new but she didn't think Tommen would commit, he isn't strong enough for that. Besides I'm pretty sure she realized that Tommen ending up dead could be a possibility cause of the prophecy and thought of the best possible move she could do keeping in mind that Tommen might die anyways.

I think I'm coming to the conclusion that I don't really have any faves. I love most of the characters and stan for them at nearly all times. I might not like he Starks too much but the only characters I truly hate are those worshipers and the High Septon.

Ugh are you even a fan of the story/series?
The Targaryen's were known for marrying their brothers and sisters, since it kept the bloodline pure.
They believed they were above everyone else, godlike you could say, and hence deemed their house important for the realm which meant they married within their families. This also explains why many of the Targaryen children grow up with mental illnesses (Mad King) or deformed bodies (some children were born with Dragon scales).

If you don't actually FOLLOW or understand the history of the story/show, don't make comments that make you seem uneducated
