She didn't see it coming. Of course she wanted to keep Tommen safe, that's why she had the Gregor stop him from going to the Sept. It was short-sighted on her part, not predicting how emotionally devastated the act would leave Tommen (or thinking he would be capable of taking his own life like that). I don't think it was OOC for her.

Also, you guys are always focusing on the wrong thing. The show is best enjoyed when you stan for no one. I don't have a single favorite. And it's obvious that no one will sit on the throne, hence the bittersweet ending.

Wow. I rewatched the whole episode after i've finish watching it. The king's landing scenes are just perfection. Queen Cersie Lannister fka Queen Cersie Baratheon is slaying the game, for now. I'm super excited for the next season. Kind the sad to see Queen Margaery go and Loras kinda serving in this last episode.

I think even if Rhaegar and Lyanna were married. Dany has still the stronger claim since Rhaegar was never a king and Dany is his little sister. And don't you all think the idea of Rhaegar and Lyanna being married is kinda predictable and soap opera-ish for GOT?

The music is awesome especially for the king's landing parts.

Anyway so happy the next season would be 6 episodes. Hoping for it to be action pack and full of dragons and zombies. Ep 9&10 level production.

I think he knows that Cersei on the throne means Tommen is dead and his sister's prophecy came to reality. I suppose, he may be suspecting it's her actions that killed their last child at this point, as he saw the destroyed Sept of Baelor when he arrived in King's Landing.

If Rhaegar and Lyanna were married, Jon would have the stronger claim because Rhaegar was the Mad King's first son which makes him the rightful heir. Had he taken the throne after his father's death, both Dany and Viserys would have been COMPLETELY out of the picture for claims to the throne since he had his son with Elia Martell, Aegon (Young Griff ) who would have been the next heir.
