So you have no more arguments and you have to insult my music taste? Great.
I love how you never actually refuted any of my arguments related to the production, rapping or lyircs, you just said they're popular, they make their own music and my music tastes must suck for not liking indie trash.
I have nothing against TOP. Maybe their music is actually great. I don't judge bands based on one song. And i love some indie acts such as Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Vance Joy etc.

I told you to look on genius.com since you didn't understand the song is complete irony, and I liked them before they blew up with this song so that popular comment is nonsense. I said it's a big hit and youre one of very few who dislike it. Just give it up already, you hate the song move along.

Honestly. I've never seen someone put so much time and energy into hating a song. Like either get a damn life or grab a stan card with how much you talk about it.

Rap genius was made for complicated lyrics with 2, 3 or 4 meanings. I use it for Kanye West or Azealia Banks. I don't think i need help analyzing the lyrics of that song. Literally every lyric of the song is as straightfoward as it could be.

he needs to promote the album because his label told them to or something idk
Okay, don't tell me right now that this is about the Vietnam war or something. its meaning couldn't be any more obvious. He is stressed out. That's all.
The song is complete irony? How? Did they intentionally make a terrible song with some terrible lyrics? If so, congratulations, you have succeeded. This band can, in fact, make terrible pop music. Oh but wait, it's ironic? So what? It's still terrible. #SELFIE was supposed to be ironic too, and i think we can all agree that song was terrible.
I am one of the few to dislike it? Then good for me. I like to be individual and make my own opinion about music, about what works and what doesn't.

have you never had this one song which just hits all the wrong spots and its existence simply annoys you? Cause i did. The songs i had the most burning hatred for in my entire life were Money On My Mind, She Looks So Perfect and now Stressed Out.
Idk maybe i will check that Blurryface album. Just because one song is bad doesn't mean i hate the whole band.

Since you're still going at it, I'll throw my two cents here. I think the song is different by not being different, by being obvious and candor. I think of it as a jab to today's music which is overloaded with the "I don't give a ****, I'mma live my life" attitude -- while "Stressed Out" expresses that in reality, we do not really feel like that. We say that "we don't give a ****", but we do. We face many insecurities and wish we could be kids again, unaware of all the pain that we have to endure as we grow up.
Something about the chill of the song, to me, is very addictive.

I think Latch and Omen are amazing, and LaLaLa isn't that bad either, so i don't hate Sam Smith. But his voice on the chorus is unbearable for me. And it got WAAAYYYY overplayed on a music channel i used to watch to the point where i couldn't listen to a second of it.

Well at least that's an actual argument instead of just ad hominems.
I got to say i think this is a good argument. It won't make me like the song more but at least i can see where you're coming from, somewhat.
And again, if you like it that's fine. I cannot feel the "chill of the song", but i am glad for you that you can.

Honestly no I have not. Even songs like Watch Me or Wiggle don't affect my life in any way. I hate them with a passion but I don't waste my time bitching about them at every opportunity.
I will admit though it is among the weakest songs on the album. But if you don't like self-referential, slightly up-its-own-ass kind of lyrics you probably won't like it. I find the band to be very human and relatable. They say what lots of people are too scared to say in their lyrics. Things like depression, anxiety, fear, etc.

This, in fact the whole album is like that and that's why it's called Blurryface. My goodness it's clear as day that you never took songwriting 101 but please stop embarrassing yourself Costea. Not everything has to be worded deep to have a deeper meaning.

Can you please stop with the ****ing insults? I don't like that song. i NEVER SAID I DO NOT LIKE THE BAND. I never claimed that. I am actually really annoyed right now because i have never insulted you and trust me, i could. I never took songwriting 101 because THAT DOESN'T EXIST. I plan to becoming a programmer not a musician. Listening to pop music is just a hobby. But even so, i can see quite clearly when a song is written badly.
Do i really have to explain myself? Look at them? Ugh goddamn it i shouldn't get this mad. **** it, i never want to listen, hear, write the name or explain to anyone ever anything related to that "song". I'd rather die.
ugh let me listen to Tell Your Friends instead. i'm out.

Flo Rida is such an odd case in terms of musician. I've heard so many of his songs, but I have no idea what he looks like. He could walk past me on a sidewalk and I'd have no idea that was him
I feel like this is most people which is why no one buys his albums. But his songs are always digital smashes
