To be honest, yes.

It gets REAL annoying REAL fast.

Does it bring in views, yes; but that's all it's useful for. They'll use you for views to get the hype and people in, but once better people come in and sign up they are just going to scrap you aside for other people. If you want to actually have a shot, be you. Don't be a caricature of who you are, but actually who you are.

That's me though. If you'd rather be faking being a mess and a half, continue it. That's the honest opinion though. There's a difference between a MESS (that's just a mess) and a mess (with personality).

The new rules will only apply to new threads being created. If you already have more than 3 Games open, you'll be allowed to keep them open to finish them. But you will not be allowed to create any new ones, you must finish the ones you have open.

All new games, including Musical Chairs must be requested in here, once a moderator approves your thread you can open it. If you open it before, it will be closed.

Album survivors stay in the same automatic thread, but you can only have 3 reserved and they count towards your maximum 3 games total.

Interested to see how strict the no copies/multiple versions rule is in action. The hunting type games all seem very similar with just changes to the themes essentially.

We're actually going to discuss the slasher type of games. They all essentially have the same format, but they're usually based on different things. I think we can find room for more than one, as long as they aren't open at the same time.

We haven't really seen any of the Slasher style games in a while. I remember when they dominated for a good three months.

All games must be approved in the Games Discussion & Sign-Up thread.
You must submit your game in the pinned thread and wait for a moderators approval before you open it. This isn't to discourage people from making games, but to help us keep track and organize the section more efficiently. Album survivors are an exception. If you wish to keep your game secret, you can get approval via help request.

Does this apply to NEW games only? Or must you get each season of your established game approved?

Basically just the mods who use Games. Although any of them can do it. Via help request can be anyone.

Honestly it'll probably just be me and Matty in here, since it only takes a few seconds to approve it won't be a big deal.

Ok good. I think having another moderator handle it would make things messy.

Also,

Do not abandon your tournament.
Abandoning your game or getting banned whilst hosting, will result in a disruptive WP.

Does that mean they get a WP even after they're banned? Is that possible?

And does the quitting/abandoning a tournament apply to the contestants too? Cause there are a few who consistently sign up only to not even submit anything first week I've noticed.
