Oh **** this was an iconic update! Evil Eyes, The Hills, Depreston, Slumlord, White Light, Calypso I feel like our lists are a lot more in sync this year than last.
MTE! There were so many good songs this year!

Si, puede ser... igual este tema es como más... denso? No se, pero me encanta.

Nnn I remember seeing the album cover from the no now album. Didn't really check it out. Will probably now though.
Yas @ Purity Ring and the one song I enjoyed off Multi-Love
Foals are the guys who did Tapes right? That's the only album I know from them if so. Mainly because of Clarks Ted bibio remix I found on it. I think I tried getting into this album but didnt like it.
Yes, Moloko exists (or did)
You'll really like that album! It's weird, and dense but mindblowing. And that Foals album is a remix album I think.

I would hear The Hills every 5 seconds on the radio, I kid you not. Which is weird because it is kind of aggressive and loud. I like the production a lot, the song itself...
I had never heard of Clarence Clarity before coming here, and I liked the artists you compared him to, and I loved the song! Thanks for that clarity.
You should listen to that album! I think you'll like it.

Perfect update omg! I won't even quote it because I love pretty much everything (except The Hills nn).
Calypso is the best though, such a brilliant song, and my second favourite from the album.
I think it might be my favorite on the album. Can't wait for her upcoming stuff!

Mataste a What Went Down, es buenisima
Genial por Unknown Mortal Orchesta y The Weeknd
What Went Down esta bien. Y tendrías que escuchar el disco debut de Purity Ring!

Courtney, D’angelo, Dawn, ELYSIA (thank you dear god for giving this damn fantastic record some recognition), Fetty, Jenny, Jlin, Miguel, Dead Petz, Wolf Alice, and of course Vol. 1
Would you recommend that Circuit des Yeux album? Looks really interesting
Yes! The Elysia record is v good. Didn't like Axacan that much (I'm from Argentina, and cumbia is suuuuper overplayed here, also the beat doesn't really change that much), but the rest is And it's like the Jenny Hval record except with, like, deeper vocals or something like that. It's cool.
Genre: Noise, Bubblegum Bass, Drone
Country: UK // Label: Numbers.
Bubblegum Merzbow. Um, so, yeah, basically, art is over.
Genre: Jazz Rap, Beat Poetry, Experimental Hip Hop
Country: USA // Label: TDE
The first part of this is hilarious, and so is the "this dick ain't free" line, but you can really note there's something quite deeper here as well. And it's kind of a bop too!
Genre: Indie Pop, Art Pop, Chamber Pop
Country: Sweden // Label: LL/Atlantic
The new version of this song is really pretty, liked it first when it came out, still doing it as well. Also, the video is cute too. Wish her the best with her upcoming baby!
Genre: Art Pop, Indietronica, Alternative R&B
Country: Honduras // Label: Terrible
The production in the song is soooooo thick, dense, intense. Love it so much because of that! Also, the lyrics are great, and have a really interesting message about catcalling, also the "LET ME WALK AWAYYYY" hook is a bop.
Genre: Electropop, Art Pop, Dance-Pop
Country: Sweden // Label: Island
This is such a weird song... I mean, are the verses, specially in the first one, even in 4/4? Also, that hook is explosive in the best way. Super underrated. The Kate Boy remix was awesome too.
Genre: Chamber Pop, Latin Pop, Twee Pop
Country: Mexico // Label: RCA
This song sounds like "Porque te vas?" de Jeanette, but it's still pretty unique in its little own way. It's also adorable. I just love this woman way too much, OK?
Genre: Dance-Pop, Synthpop, Nu-Disco
Country: UK // Label: Island
OK, now really, when will Fifth Harmony release a post-Cyndi Lauper, post-Emotion masterpiece like this?
Genre: Contemporary R&B, Pop Rap, Alternative R&B
Country: Canada // Label: Island
OK, first: this is not Drake's best song. That would be "Take Care" (feat. Rihanna, produced by Jamie xx), but this is a good bop with an addictive hook. The video is cute, but... still... .
Genre: Indie Rock, Noise Pop, Noise Rock
Country: UK // Label: RCA
This is probably one of the loudest, noisiest tracks Wolf Alice has ever made. It's kind of like a "**** YOU" to someone. I love how it starts to chill and cute and then it breaks into total insanity. It's actually kinda abrasive. I'm into it! The video is hilarious too.
Genre: UK Bass, Hardcore Breaks, Future Garage
Country: UK // Label: Young Turks
If I'm being honest, this is probably one of my least favorite tracks on his album. But! I'm digging the Jungle-influence, and it's still a really wonderful introduction to this world Jamie xx is trying to create with his music, and the video is amazing as well.
another great update, this list keeps getting better and better
gosh and the new version of never gonna love again are wonderful
kitty kat's lyrics are great, although there are way better songs on her album, same goes with for free?, it's hilarious, but it's just an interlude, not an actual song
l.o.v.e. is tragic though like seriously, one of the worst songs released this year
Your previous update was AMAZING! Evil Eyes and Slumlord in particular are big faves of mine.
This update is amazing as well! Hotline Bling, Timebomb, Kendrick's and Lykke's song are all great and Kitty Kat is slowly becoming my favorite from the album, for the exact reasons you said. I love it!
