I'm glad she is evolving too. But this project is still sleeping to me. Where is the fire! The tour is less than 2 weeks away and nothing has burned up yet. She usually gets it by the second single. I'm worried.

Maybe this isnt the second single. I just know the clip isnt enticing. No Sleep isnt a song you can tour with...at least not for the type of audience Janet has always attracted. No Sleep feels like an amazing prelude to something massive. If this song is the single I hope it sounds much better in the full context of the song.

This is the downside to snippets. If you dont like it you are much less likely to give the song a chance once its available in full.

If the absence of things like an All Nite or a Rock With U Pt. 2 are killing the anticipation, then I'm glad that she is disappointing y'all, sorry. Those are cute songs, no doubt, but not anywhere near classic Janet sounds.

I wouldn't dare advocate Janet recreating songs. Who was advocating for this? People just want dance songs.

You missed the point. Janet has upbeat songs (e.g. If, The Pleasure Principle, All For You) but those so-called Club Bangers are not exactly her roots and she won't necessarily do it again. Nobody said recreate.

The point is people cannot expect her to focus on "Feedback" type of material.
