you forgot the natives. most people in latin america are native-european mix. and it's because they don't understand latin americans are a regional/geographical identity, not a racial one.
yeah i know, my father's ancestors were from italy. but the history part is important because other latin american countries got heavy european immigration too like colombia, mexico and even puerto rico, but the native popular (and/or black population in the latin caribbeas) in those places was so big and survived so white people are the minority.
