130 · FOXES, "Youth"
Weeks on Chart: did not chart
Peak Position: did not chart
Debut Date: did not chart
After the ground breaking appearance on Zedd's "Clarity", Foxes released her first solo single through "Youth". This may not be the type of music I fondly listen to, but I enjoyed "Youth" fairly. Catchy synthpop beats and haunting vocals. Gloriously done.
♫ "Now I'm just chasing time with a thousand dreams I'm holding heavy. And as we cross the line, these fading beats have all been severed." ♫
2013: KREWELLA, "Alive" |

129 · FOXES, "Let Go For Tonight"
Weeks on Chart: did not chart
Peak Position: did not chart
Debut Date: did not chart
Foxes makes the first back-to-back appearance on the list with "Let Go For Tonight". Foxes took a more pop direction with this track and it definitely sounded amazing. The hooks are undeniably irresistible. Kind of confusing why her tracks never charted on the weekly countdown.
♫ "So, I call your name. The only thing I know is I need you here. Will you be gone forever? All that I know, all that I know is we're here tonight." ♫

128 · TROYE SIVAN, "Happy Little Pill"
Weeks on Chart: 1 Week
Peak Position: #20
Debut Date: August 23, 2014
Newcomer and countdown first-time Troye Sivan makes his sole appearance on the list with "Happy Little Pill". To be honest, the song sounded too mature for his age. It wasn't also appealing at first listen, not after a couple more spins. The stats get crazier as the wannabes are slowly revealed!
♫ "My happy little pill, take me away. Dry my eyes. Bring color to my skies, my sweet little pill. Tame my hunger. Lie within. Numb my skin." ♫
2013: DISCLOSURE f/ SAM SMITH, "Latch" |

127 · KYLIE MINOGUE, "I Was Gonna Cancel"
Weeks on Chart: 2 Weeks
Peak Position: #15
Debut Date: May 17, 2014
Australian pop icon Kylie Minogue returns to the list with her signature synthpop style through "I Was Gonna Cancel". I've always been a follower of Kylie's music but this track still had no strong impact. It was ages since a Kylie track made a remark on me, and I hope that I'd find one again sooner.
♫ "Just hop out of the bed. Go ahead face the day. Who cares what you know. Don't let that in the way no way." ♫
2013: YLVIS, "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say)" |

126 · INGRID MICHAELSON, "Girls Chase Boys"
Weeks on Chart: 1 Week
Peak Position: #17
Debut Date: February 15, 2014
Another countdown first-timer appears on the list as Ingrid Michaelson debuts with "Girls Chase Boys". I first heard the name through a hipster friend who was recommending Ingrid's music. I can't remember if I tried to listen to one of her previous efforts, but this track is a smash. Simple yet remarkable.
♫ "All the broken hearts in the world still beat. Let;s not make it harder than it has to be." ♫
2013: CONOR MAYNARD, "Animal" |
