Having re-read my original post, I infact praised the Beatles one sentence after the part that you quoted by acknowledging their utmost importance in music and pop history.
Sorry you jumped to hilarious conclusions.

haha, I'm talking about bands that are going for the classic rock sound. They are all BORING.

I'm just going to ignore any statements that *some* people are making in this thread, because I REALLY don't want to get into that ******** again, and I'll give you one that nobody has mentioned, and I'm shocked that they haven't been mentioned yet(or maybe not?):
Pink Floyd.
I just don't get it. What's so amazing about them? I mean, granted, the Syd Barrett era was pretty groundbreaking and noteworthy, but after Barrett, I think they lost the spark.
I realize that they are the supposed "Kings of Prog Rock", but I, personally, think Rush was doing what Floyd was doing and doing it better, at that.

nobody said Ashlee Simpson because she's not overrated. I don't think I've ever heard anyone call her a great singer, even her fans. Not to mention the fact that her sales for her last cd were horrible. If she's anything she could be considered underrated, even though I can't stand her voice.

I disagree, but do understand where you are coming from.
Anyway, my point is not whether to agree or disagree, it is to highlight where you said that you were shocked that they haven't been mentioned. Do you honestly think 95% of ATRL has heard a Pink Floyd song?

Or how about acts like Aerosmith, The Scorpions, Def Leppard, etc. Most of the ATRLers come from the teeny-bopper generation where they look at 'Who's Hot At The Moment'....

^lol and Usher
Anyways I completely forgot Beyonce "cant sit her ass down for a minute" Knowles. She hasnt had a decent song in years and is only relevant because she shoves her weave down everybody's throat 24/7
Seriously, i dont even know why she's so famous because her songs are hardly hits and her albums are never anything special. She's just hype.
