Both my other faves and every record they have sold.
And several others in my sig.
And basically 90% of female artists post-1984.
And every girl's style of dress in 84-86.
And several businesswomen.
And "Vogue".
And "Holiday" & "Like a Virgin" being known everywhere and extensively used. (Glee!)
Cultural impact is almost synonymous with cultural significance, which means in your country/culture who has left the biggest impression on the people as a whole.
Record sales mean zilch.
Album sales mean zilch.
Songs that are less known than Dancing Queen also means zilch.
I also doubt Madge influences female entrepreneurs.
I don't know what's worse. People thinking Madonna is more influential than Michael Jackson or people thinking Michael Jackson is more influential than The Beatles.

I appreciate your response though
I think more people know Like a Prayer or Like a Virgin more than Dancing Queen. I'm sure some people my age don't even know who ABBA is.
I hadn't heard Like A Virgin til I was in my mid teens
But, I knew Dancing Queen since I was a child because of how many movies, (romances, comedies, parodies alike) it was in.
I understand you're a stan, but come on
I really don't think Mariska is a Madonna stan
You can't say you've never heard Holiday then. Dancing Queen is hugely memorable and an iconic song, but Madonna has several songs in the same magnitude.

People than can't understand that not everybody have to agree with them.
Maybe not (and it would be hard for them to do some of these ), but The Beatles defines 60's music and the British boy band (seen in The Wanted and One Direction), and were still relevant in the 70's and even the 80's thanks to their solo efforts. Everyone knows the suits and mop tops, as well as the hippie look of their later years. The Beatles spawned a thousand bands in their wake and basically created the modern rock blueprint. John Lennon was also one of the most politically charged musicians in the history of rock and roll.
Michael Jackson was the most socially charged musician in the history of music with them hundreds of millions to charity.

babe enough, he's a mariah stan and will never settle.

The Beatles did not open the door for anybody. Maybe they opened the door for British musicians to find success in America but that is not nearly as important as opening the door for an entire race of people to prosper in the mainstream.
They didn't exactly create the modern rock blueprint by themselves. It was them and a lot of other artists. (ex. Elvis)
