Ever since Popstars & Celebs hopped on the "It gets Better" campaign the media has pushed gay suicide to the forefront. I know its a problem but people act as if non gays aren't taking part in this, and then multiple a day at that. The media is making it seem like gays are just weak minded, emotional beings who choose death as a way to escape their problems. Even as a bisexual man seeing all these gay suicide reports is really getting annoying.

Please preach it to these girls. Some of you in this thread sound flatout ridiculous. We're living in an era of society that's raising these Suburban men like frail little girls. Bullying isn't going to stop. The fact that 14-year olds living in middle-class homes with iPhones and ride to school in Lamborghini's are stressed enough to kill themselves over a little teasing versus people dying of cancer and living out on the streets fighting to live just doesn't tug on my heartstrings too much.
Hell, even the Hood where it's even more homophobic, you never hear about little Tyrone killing himself, or maybe the media just doesn't give a damn enough to cover that.
These articles trying to give off the impression that gay teen suicides are something new and rising are just tired out and something that should've been left in 2011 to make room for the next big nonsensical trend for the media to hop on.
