The Mirror is also reporting that the Cheryl episodes for X-Factor will air and she'll be called a guest judge. Douches. But thinking about it now - this might be the best thing for her. I don't want her to be a television personality in the states; I want her to be a popstar first. Maybe this will give her enough exposure to make things happen in the US. And then hopefully X-Factor will get canned. MUAHAHA.

Despite losing her place on The X Factor USA to Nicole Scherzinger, Cheryl Cole is said to be using her rejection as inspiration to pen new songs for her next solo LP.

According to The Mirror, the Girls Aloud star is keen to make a new record that will help her crack America, regardless of the fact that she was dismissed from the US XF panel in a very public fashion.

Chezza's manager, Will.I.Am, is said to have hooked-up the singer with Wayne Wilkins - who penned Cole's hit tune Fight For This Love - in an attempt to channel some of her anger from receiving the sack from the American series into her third solo album.

A source told the newspaper: "Cheryl's time and energy is going into her music and writing songs. She is putting her *emotions down on paper. A lot of the tracks she writes are likely to be about how she is feeling right now."

They added: "She wants to prove to everyone that she's a great popstar and is in control of her own destiny and doesn't need to rely on others."

Simon Cowell has since issued an apology to Chezza over how her US XF axe was handled, stating that he hopes the pair can still remain "close friends."

In other Cheryl Cole news, the Parachute hitmaker is being tipped for a role on new BBC talent show, The Voice, after choosing not to return to the UK XF.

The 27-year old is apparently at the top of the wish list when it comes to The Voice panel, with George Michael and Robbie Williams also rumoured.

An insider told The Sun: "The X Factor has had a bit of a rollercoaster ride already this year and ITV fear any rival new show could blow it out of the water."

They continued: "The hype around The Voice is now so great that ITV feels it has no choice but to be in the running for it. If the BBC got it - and managed to sign Cheryl - then it could snare loads of viewers away from The X Factor."

The Voice has already proved to be a huge hit across the pond, with Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera starring as judges on the American series.

Cheryl knows us & loves us here in the US.
