Please back in the 80's-90's and up to 2000's you could have 20-40 artists getting #1 on the country charts. You had Shania, Reba, Faith, Gretchen Wilson, Cindy Thompson, Tammy Cochran, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Kellie Coffey and many other females from 1998-2005 getting #1's and top fives.
Now you have Carrie, Miranda, and Taylor if that. It's sad and this new chart promoting is not going to help the females nor will it help the males.
Next thing you know, AI Se Eu Te Pego will be going number one on country if they change the rules enough.
I mean, it depens on what Billboard considers it. And that's one thing that's wrong with it, imo. That, and the fact that all genre airplay is considerd for a single genre chart.
Cute. I didn't know people can't have an opinion about chart rules without being pressed.
One thing is voicing an opinion. Another thing is repeating the same things over and over again and having the same meltdown since yesterday. There's a limit y'all.
