Your right, I should be thrilled of joy and happiness that Blown Away the song that should be number one next week, and stay at number for several weeks just got robbed because of an uneeded chart policy.

Im not really getting into IKYWT. I just dont agree that sales should really influence these sub genres. Sales = pop pretty much. Also I think it proves a point when Taylor Swift jumps from 20 something straight to number 1

I know that Carrie fans are really loud and vocal about this, but it's not just them.

If you go on other music forums (like Pulse), you'll see that there is a lot of people that disagree with Billboard and their revised chart.

This new chart change puts too much power in POP songs. I mean if sales are included then POP songs will freaking destroy songs on other charts as well.

Yeah I'm not saying I agree with the rules. I'm just saying that it had already charted there so objectively they couldn't now say it isn't country after 7 weeks in which it was charting there. Its obvious it wasn't the biggest country song at this time but alot of times the #1 song played on radio isn't the biggest country song. Yes they need to tweak this alot! I mean I understand that they would like to have sales influence the charts but they didnt consider crossover hits. When a POP songs crossovers then its just a straight plain mess with the current system they have.

But we are on ATRL. There's nothing with being vocal as long as it doesn't get out of hand. We're just answering some of the post attacking Taylor and discussing topics about the new rule but other people just felt it was a good idea to go way over the top,
