On the Metro is overrated, besides the amazing verses there's nothing really wow. Everything about Something New is good besides the production, I gave it a 9

''Something New'' is so mediocre. The rather dull and uninspired lyrics (go gerls gggggo go go / I need you here uh uh)^, the ''All Fired Up''-lite production, the lack of Kween Nuhdeen... it's majorly flawed. I think I gave it a 5 or a 6, can't recall.
I am afraid that it'll too a little TOO well because it's recent though.
But the lyrics are SO girls aloud. Perfect for their comeback single. The structure of Something New > everything about On the Metro.
& I'm doing the Rachel Stevens featuring lessor 2005 pop albums rate after this one, I see atrl is doing the absolute most on that pop masterpiece so I will bring a little justice.

Something New is filled with great hooks from start to finish (especially the finish!), you can't say the same about On the Metro. Lyrics are not really what I care about with songs like these

IDK either, I murdered it in my rates. Overrated trash along with Memory of You, which I was a bit too harsh on. Hoxton Heroes is their best non-album track.

Because it's their best song, that's why. It encapsulates in the best way everything that's great about Girls Aloud.
