First of all the OP and the article linked implies they got the food for him, I don't think they should be taking anyone to BK that is arrested for any reason regardless of race.
As for the rest; the police can and will do what they feel is needed, even lie, to get someone to cooperate. As Doc says the FBI handled the confession but he was with the police prior to the FBI hand off and he was asking for food. If he was not fed he would be asking the FBI for food.
However like I said above, if it's true they actually took him to BK then there is no excuse for that, I have read several conflicting articles now so I don't know what the real deal is here.
first off, racism is a problem America and in American police forces, but how would pulling a hypothetical situation like the one in the OP help anything? It doesn't. You guys in here keep saying "if it was a black person" or "if it was this" but that's all you give are ifs. Nothing but ifs. You can't solve any problem that has yet to present itself and everything that everyone in here has said about the way the Police/FBI would have handled things if it was a different race is pure speculation. We don't know anything. Now, Lati, instead of creating a race issue that was never there, how about you make a thread about problems that actually happened i.e. the overall mess that SC is with race relations, Mckinney, and several other glaring issues.
