Ryan Murphy has become a master of marketing through concept and casting, nowhere more so than in the “American Horror Story” franchise. Yet the latest edition of the FX series, subtitled “Hotel,” outdoes itself on that score by adding Lady Gaga to its high-profile repertory company, where the mantra seems to be, “The scenery’s free; eat all you can chew.” Gaga delivers only a few clipped lines of dialogue, but who cares? She’s gloriously photographed, in a venue where strands-of-hair placement are vital, plot scarcely matters, and sensual pleasures invariably go hand in hand with buckets of blood.
YAaaaaAs I am so happy they are enjoying Gaga ( I am only happy, cuz I am defensive of her and if I knew people wouldn't care if she is mediocre, I'd be like fine, but I know people will do the most even if she is fine...)
Did we already know which song would be used during Gaga's 6 minutes scene? Because it's in Eonline's article, so do not read it if you want to keep it a surprise.

"Something that was so important to me when I got here is I really wanted to bond with the cast," she explained. "And I wanted to get to know them, and I wanted them to feel comfortable with me as a human being and a person, and know that I was going to be available and open to them, and that I wasn't going to come on set and be like, ‘Where's my make up?! Where's my trailer?!' and be a huge bitch and make this The Gaga Show. The most important thing to me was that that did not happen."
"Not only is the season premiere of Hotel arguably the best episode so far of the entire AHS series, but Gaga slays in this role—in every way. Her opening scene with Matt Bomer, set to the song
"Tear You Apart" by She Wants Revenge
, is one you will never forget after watching—which you will do with your jaw unhinged, dangling somewhere around your knees."
The reviews are good so far. Gaga doesn't say a lot during the first episode, which is fine. We have a whole season to hear what she has to say. At least the reviews are saying she makes an important contribution to the show

And perhaps most surprising? Gaga's greatest hope for Wednesday's premiere is that she is completely...forgettable. "I'd really like people to watch it and not feel like they're watching Lady Gaga. I'd like them to feel like they're watching The Countess. So that's important to me, and I've spent a lot of time working on that. I can't wait for everyone to just enjoy the show."
Gaga says she wants people to forget she's Gaga and see her as the countess. That's gonna be hard considering the countess is high fashion and dark. Like a Gaga music video.
Ok so their opinion means jack ****. If anything it's gonna be leaning more toward asylum than FS and that's anything one could have hoped for this season.
