I do however wish that her sales weren't AS front-loaded.

I can understand this.
However, it's pretty normal to have front-loaded sales when you are the biggest popstar on Earth and the biggest market WW has a 440K boost on the 1st weel due to Amazon selling the album at... well... we know.
WW, her sales aren't as front-loaded as US; in Italy, for example, she opened with ~15K and now it has already passed 50K; in the UK, with only a single not that big promo appareance and though she isn't really smashing there, has already more that doubled her HUGE first week (215K - 554K), and we all know that lately UK album sales have been really low, expect from 1st week; in Japan, where sales are always front-loaded to the max., she began with 184K and has easily hit 600K, which is impressive even for a strong local; in most European countries, Australia and Canada it is having a very stable run. WW, her sales are obviously consistent, since, every week, newer albums fall behind her in the world chart: last week ~12-13% decrease was mostly due to VMAs effect which had impact on the previous week. Starting with 2M sold obviously means you're going to have troubles in holding on consistent, but she has done it through the low summer sales.

I think you've just got so used to reading posts by haters that say gaga is flopping Ra2 that they have effected the way you view the campaign....In reality this campaign is far from a disaster...it is a huge success and still has a lot of legs.

Alot of the lyrics, production even the freakin cover artwork is mainstream. she is doing what she wants and in my opinion is selling very well. This is how you change pop music or "do it your way", the music is fresh and i think she is trying to show fans and people she doesn't care about charts this year and trying to get everyone else on that mine frame as well. its again that argument of how people view value

I like you.
But really, I don't find the album to be as "non-commercial" as people on here make it out to be. There are certainly non-commercial tracks, but I think there's enough there that should keep it a float.
I love the album cover.
She should do what she wants to do.
She is selling well.
Gaga might not truly care about charts but at some level she has to and probably does. Her record label certainly does. People often do not think about the fact that a record label is first and foremost a business. Their goal is to sell as much of their artists's STUFF as possible. Gaga has had more artistic control than most artists ever get due to the fact that she is a phenomenon. Not every artist has the chance/opportunity that she's gotten.
But really. I'm not here to argue whether or not she's successful. Numbers will prove themselves.
I'm here mainly to support Gaga on radio, to talk about Gaga related stuff, and to discuss future music from Gaga (and the current and future singles).

Gaga's doing fine in the UK. Sales have been in the toilet for the past 4 months and they will start rising soon and she has a lot of promo coming up. She's been in the top 20 for 17 weeks! She's doing great.

You're asking for too much .
Only 3/10 singles from Gaga have been number 1 and songs like Bad Romance, Paparazzi, Telephone, Alejandro, and TEOG didn't get it. So...

Single/Video worthy songs(imo)
Scheiße
Marry The Night
Heavy Metal Lover
Hair
Bloody Mary
Bad Kids
If you're being lenient/she does something insane:
The Queen
All of them can hit the top 10 and one or a few of them can hit #1.

From some of the comments in your post Ra2 you'd think she was selling like Robyn. Gaga has sold in total over 6m albums this year and around 15m singles so far! She ain't on the street.

Oh her sales WW are fantastic.
When I'm speaking of her sales, unless I specify it's always referring to US sales only.
My only complaints as far as sales go are the US sales. Everything else has been fine.
I certainly think there's a reason for it though. I'm not sure what that is unfortunately.

I honestly believe if we lived in an era without the internet, people would be pleased with how things are going. Everyone is now competing to be the biggest critic because it's what everyone else is doing.
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION THOUGH. I'm sure one of you will quote me and try to explain how I'm wrong.
